Tempered glass is about 4 times as durable as regular glass. In the unlikely event that the glass breaks, tempered glass will shatter into small fragments instead of sharp shards, making it less likely to cause severe injury. Automobiles use tempered glass.

The aluminum trim is riveted and glued to the outside perimeter of the glass and internal steel frame to protect the edges of the tempered glass.

What is the difference between HOT DIPPED GALVANIZED steel and ZINC ELECTROPATED steel?

Hot-dip galvanizing (PROview® steel pole) is the process of coating steel with a layer of Zinc (galvanize). The entire pole (inside and out) is “dipped” into melted zinc. The bond between the Zinc (galvanize) and steel is super strong and cannot be peeled anyway. Zinc plating or electroplating (PROforce steel Pole and all other steel on all systems)is a process where zinc is applied by using a current of electricity. It is a thinner coating than hot dip galvanizing

Can I take my PROformance system with me if I move?

Chances are, the next person that buys your house is going to want to keep it! If you’re lucky enough to take it with you, you simply loosen the bolts holding the pole to the anchor. The anchor stays in the ground, and you get to take the hoop with you. You can purchase a new anchor when you’re ready to reinstall it.
